![]() Three economics students from the University of Witten/Herdecke in Germany have, with assistance from A.T. Kearney, developed an innovative exchange concept allowing German youngsters to visit emerging and developing countries. Since its initial conception, this innovative project has evolved into what's called "Stiftung Welt:Klasse" (the World:Class Foundation), which has set itself the goal of enabling adolescents from Germany to spend a number of weeks in emerging and developing countries so they can experience and learn more about the world at large. October 2007 will see one school from North-Rhine Westphalia and one from Bavaria conduct the inaugural projects together with partner organizations in Thailand and China. So how did the students become aware of A.T. Kearney's "CREATE a difference" initiative? What happened in the interim period between submission of the application and the start of coaching? How was the coaching actually given? If you want to know more, click here: Firsthand Report on "Stiftung Welt:Klasse" www.stiftung-weltklasse.de
